Some people are excellent at what they do – and Steve Lumsdaine at Breath Connection is one on those people. I met Steve for the first time in August last year in Busselton and in that conversation we discussed my asthma. At the time I was taking medication for it but was still experiencing shortness of breath and wheeziness especially whilst trying to get to sleep at night. I wasn’t sleeping well and was feeling tired throughout most days.
Long story short; Steve, who is an accredited Buteyko Practitioner and Practitioner Trainer, put me through his breath re-training program which, because of the distance between us, we did on Skype. Our sessions have been relaxed, flexible, personal and very time efficient – from the comfort and convenience of my home office.
Firstly we corrected my chronic habit of mouth-breathing and then set about re-training my breathing. This has made a huge positive difference to my health and quality of life. I’m now sleeping so much better. My wheezing at night has all but stopped and I’m almost completely off my asthma medication. These days I’m snoring less (my wife is happy about that) and I have a lot more energy during the day. Overall I’m feeling more alive and vital than I was three months ago and am looking forward to continuing and increased benefits.
If you are experiencing any difficulty breathing or sleeping or dealing with stress and anxiety, you might want to have a word with Steve Lumsdaine – he’s a good bloke and it’s certainly been my personal experience that he knows his stuff. It’s easy for me to recommend Steve and I will be doing so every chance I get.
